Thinking, learning, and memory—a matter of nerve cell communication that occurs via neurotransmitters

Neurotransmitters are molecules that nerve cells send to each other to communicate. When we think, nerve cells release neurotransmitters. Memories are created when, after such communication, nerve cells arrange themselves into three-dimensional structures. The next time a signal is triggered through such a 3-D structure in the brain, we perceive it as a memory. In short, for normal healthy thinking, learning, and memory, we need neurotransmitters and healthy nerve cells.

The mechanism triggering these neurotransmitters depends on the functioning of cell membranes.

Citicoline is a precursor of acetylcholine, which means that the body builds acetylcholine from citicoline. Acetylcholine and phosphatidylserine are two major components of nerve cell membranes and are also the two main neurotransmitters involved in cognitive activities.

Chronic inflammation of nerve tissue due to diet and age – the main cause of aging and cognitive decline.

Inflammation of nerve tissue can be caused by a poor diet that contains too many carbohydrates, specifically sugars. With age, we also digest food less efficiently, and so the same food causes more inflammation. Glucose and fats can bind to other molecules, preventing the body from using or excreting them properly. Typically, in Alzheimer's disease, amyloids, which are oxidized proteins, accumulate in brain cells. The body cannot use or eliminate these proteins, so they accumulate in brain cells and impair their function.

Beta-caryophyllene can reduce inflammation via PPAR receptors and CB2 receptors. Ginkgosides in gingko biloba act as antioxidants in the frontal cortex.

Three high-quality natural extracts – no synthetic ingredients.

Beta-caryophyllene, phosphatidylserine, and gingko biloba are three natural extracts, while citoholin is the result of a natural fermentation process (using specific bacteria and enzymes). During the cultivation of the plants, conditions are created to ensure that these herbs produce the right amounts of active beneficial molecules, and then during processing, care is taken to ensure that the content of these medicinal molecules is precisely determined and always the same (i.e., standardized). All ingredients are the result of many years of scientific research into the healing power of nature.

All ingredients are of controlled origin, purchased in Europe, and standardized for active ingredient content (to ensure accurate content and effect of active substances). Beta-caryophyllene and citicoline in CogniCare capsules have also been clinically tested (with proven results in humans published in reputable scientific journals), while phosphatidylserine and ginkgo biloba have a history of clinical studies spanning several decades.

Fourfold action.

  1. CogniCare provides the building blocks for nerve cell membranes, which are essential for communication between neurons.

Citicoline is the basic ingredient from which the body builds acetylcholine. Phosphatidylserine and acetylcholine are two of the main building blocks of cell membranes in the brain and nervous system. Healthy cell membranes ensure better communication between cells, allowing them to respond correctly to stimuli. In this case, it is healthy communication between nerve cells, which send neurotransmitters to each other (the basic process of nerve function).

  1. It provides certain neurotransmitters and building blocks for others—the basic elements of cognitive abilities.

Phosphatidylserine, acetylcholine, and phosphatidylcholine are the three main neurotransmitters involved in cognitive abilities, specifically in learning and memory processes. During these processes, nerve synapses are »fired,« and neurons send signals to each other, with multiple nerves then forming multidimensional structures in the brain that form the basis for memories. CogniCare provides phosphatidylserine and the building blocks for acetylcholine and phosphatidylcholine.

  1. It protects nerve cells and helps them grow, contributing to healthy nerve and brain function.

For beta-caryophyllene, laboratory in vitro Studies have shown that it is neurotrophic. This means that it protects nerve cells from inflammation and oxidative stress. In its presence, nerve cells also grow and develop faster. Beta-caryophyllene also affects PPAR receptors and CB2 endocannabinoid receptors, which directly regulate fat and sugar metabolism and reduce inflammation and pain.

Ginkgo biloba contains ginkgolides, special polyphenols that protect brain cells and neurotransmitters from oxidative stress. Ginkgo biloba also increases blood flow to the frontal lobe of the brain, the part of the brain responsible for cognition.

  1. It can improve cognitive abilities.

Ginkgo biloba increases blood flow to the frontal lobe of the brain, which is responsible for cognition. Beta-caryophyllene may increase levels of BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor), which helps protect nerve cells and regulates neurotransmitter activity.

Citicoline in CogniCare capsules has been the subject of nine clinical studies. Among other things, these studies have shown the following:

  • A clinical study conducted at the renowned MIT university showed an improvement in memory in older individuals (over 50 years of age).,
  • A clinical study conducted at Harvard University using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed that citicoline improves the functioning of synapses and nerve cell membranes in the frontal cortex of the brain.
  • A clinical study at the Brain Institute Utah on women between the ages of 40 and 60 showed an improvement in mental focus.
  • A clinical study showed improved mental focus in young men aged 13 to 18.

BCP affects PPAR receptors, which regulate fat and sugar metabolism and reduce inflammation and pain. Among other things, this reduces stress on nerve cells and the brain.
